Have you ever eaten Creme Brulee? I bet you have. Creme Brulee, originally a French term, usually refers to as Burnt Cream. The word Brulee refers to dishes, such as custards, finished with a sugar glaze.You can easily find the recipe for making Creme Brulee. Here only basic steps are briefly shown here. First, you need to cook the simple custard and keep it cooled. Then a small amount of sugar is sprinkled on the top of the cooled custard and the sugar is caramelized using a small torch.Such a small torch is usually called brulee torch.
Commonly taken as a kitchen tool, the brulee torch is usually used primarily for caramelizing sugar; as a result, it is sometimes called creme brulee torch. The item is ultra convenient for you to make caramel puddings, unfreeze meat, or doing some BBQ. Of course, it could also be applied to vehicles repairing, models making, and dental or lab usages, material shrinkage or soften, hobby and boutique repair, etc.
Soldering Tool
A special kind of burning torch is called butane torch which burns the highly flammable, colorless, easily liquefied gas, butane (C4H10). Consumer butane torches are often claimed to have flame temperatures up to approximately1400 °C or 2500 °F. This temperature is high enough to melt many common metals, such as aluminum and copper.Thus Butane torches not only are frequently employed kitchen tools in cooking, but also are sometimes used for delicate electronics soldering and some types of glass-work. Safety measure must be taken seriously, such as this one: "Use glass or ceramic bowls or dishes, not plastic, when using a butane torch to avoid melting the container."
Either brulee torches or butane torches are now designed according to Ergonomics and are precisely manufactured; hence, they are easy to operate. Users can adjust the power of the flame and temperature by the knob on the handle. With this function, users can apply the torches to do their soldering and welding works more precisely.
